Created by DC Autism Parents (DCAP), the Second Edition of the Autism Resource Guide is intended to assist parents in identifying programs and individual services available for their children living with autism spectrum disorders in the District of Columbia. Please note that this guide is not intended to be all-inclusive. DCAP does not endorse any of these resources.
The District of Columbia Public Library (DCPL) and DC Autism Parents have partnered to provide library users with 725 hard copies of the Autism Resource Guide For Families of Children Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders in DC. Please visit your local DCPL location to obtain this FREE resource available on April 1st.
Join us for a day of under the sea fun on Saturday, April 16th from 9am-1pm at the National Aquarium (14th and Constitution Avenue NW WDC 20230), located in the lower level of the Commerce Building.
Come in and visit over 200 species including alligators, piranha, shark, eel and Japanese carp. There will be arts and crafts, a quiet room, story time and more.
Tickets are FREE for child under 12 years of age and $3.50/adults (this is a special event rate). Please be prepared to pay by cash or check at the door.

The Washington Nationals are proud to host Autism Awareness Day on Sunday, April 17 in partnership with DC Autism Parents. To support this organization and Autism Awareness purchase a ticket for the game and a portion of the proceeds will go back DCAP. On Autism Awareness Day, fans are invited to visit the Community Kiosk to pick up information and learn more about DCAP.
